2. Nature of Elencus Application

Elencus is a completely offline application designed to maximize your privacy:

• No server: There is no backend server collecting or storing your data.
• Local storage: All contacts and data are saved exclusively on your device (browser LocalStorage and IndexedDB).
• Zero tracking: We don't use tracking cookies, analytics or monitoring tools.
• No account: We don't require registration, login or personal data to use the app.

In practice: We have no access to your contacts, we don't see what you do in the app, and we don't collect any information about your activities.

3. Data Collected by Website (elencus.app)

The informational website collects only minimal technical data necessary for operation:

Essential Technical Cookies

We use a single cookie for:

• Consent cookie (elencus_cookie_consent): Stores your choice on the cookie banner to not show it every time. Duration: 365 days.

Server Logs

The web server temporarily stores in logs:

• IP address (anonymized after 7 days)
• Request date and time
• Page visited
• Browser and operating system (User Agent)

These logs are necessary for site security and are automatically deleted after 30 days.

4. Contact Form

If you use the website's contact form, we collect:

• Name (optional)
• Email (required to respond)
• Message (content of your request)

Legal basis: Explicit consent provided by submitting the form.

Purpose: To respond to your questions or support requests.

Retention: Messages are kept for the time strictly necessary to handle your request (maximum 12 months), then deleted.

We don't share this data with third parties.

5. Data in Application (PWA)

The Elencus application:

• Works offline: All your contacts are saved only on your device.
• Doesn't send data: No information is transmitted to external servers.
• Voluntary export: Only you decide whether to export your data (CSV, JSON, PDF). Export creates a file on your device, not uploaded anywhere.
• Import: Files you import are read locally in the browser, never uploaded to servers.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

In accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of data we have about you (spoiler: practically none, except possible contact form messages).
• Rectification: Correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure: Request deletion of your data.
• Objection: Object to processing of your data.
• Portability: Receive your data in readable format (for the app, you can export yourself with 1 click).
• Consent withdrawal: Withdraw consent at any time.

7. Data Security

We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect data:

• HTTPS connection for the entire site
• No central database with user data
• Limited server access (authorized personnel only)
• Regular source code backups (without user data)
