Install Elencus as an app

Elencus is a Progressive Web App (PWA): use it in the browser and add it to your home screen or Start menu like an app—no app stores required.

We offer a single web experience (PWA), always up to date with the same privacy: we do not publish separate native store apps. Below you will find the illustrated steps on Android with Google Chrome, and for Windows the install flow with Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

Smartphone: Android (Google Chrome)

On many Android phones you can install Elencus from the Chrome menu. On-screen labels may vary slightly depending on your Chrome or Android version.

Open the Elencus site in Chrome (for example the app page) and wait for it to finish loading.

Tap the menu (three dots ⋮) in the top-right corner.

Option to add the app to the home screen
Choose “Add to Home screen”, “Install app”, or similar wording.

Confirm the name and icon, then accept the installation.

You will find the Elencus icon on your home screen: tap it to open the app full screen.

Tip: use an up-to-date Chrome. If “Install app” does not appear, make sure you opened the site in Chrome and not in a limited system browser.

Computer: Windows (Chrome or Edge)

On Windows you can install Elencus from the browser menu or from the icon in the address bar. Labels may differ slightly between Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

Open Chrome or Edge on Windows and go to the Elencus page (for example /app/ or the site home).

When the site has loaded, check the address bar: an install icon often appears (+ or monitor with arrow).

Or open the main menu (⋮ or …) at the top right and look for “Install Elencus”, “Install app”, or “Install this site as an app”.

Tip: use an up-to-date Chrome or Edge. If install does not appear, check that the site is served over HTTPS and that no mode is blocking PWAs.
